Customer Reviews
Decent gear, but watch the checkout
i was on the hunt for some new pickleball gear last week and stumbled upon recess pickleball. their joggers looked pretty good and the prices seemed reasonable, especially compared to some other brands like joola or selkirk. i picked up a couple of paddle covers too, but the whole checkout process was a bit frustrating. i had a coupon code but it wouldn't apply until the very last step, and then it turned out you can't combine it with other offers. felt a little bait-and-switchy. the products themselves are fine though, good quality for the price after all that.
Consistent quality, always reliable
This was my third time ordering from Recess Pickleball, or Club Recess now. I've bought paddles before, and this time I picked up one of their exercise dresses and a visor. Just like my previous orders, the quality was consistent. The dress fits well and is comfortable for playing. I really like that their items always arrive looking exactly as they do on the website. Shipping was on par with what I've experienced before, around 4-5 days to my place in California. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect and they always deliver.
Good deal on a full set
I was looking to get into pickleball and saw they had full pickleball sets. I waited for a sale and snagged a set during their summer solstice event. Got a paddle, balls, and a court bag all together, which was a good value compared to buying each item separately. With the discount, it felt like a smart purchase. I got free shipping too because my order was over $100. It's my first time buying from here, and I felt I got a good deal on everything. The set arrived in about a week. Definitely worth it for a beginner like me.
Cute paddle, fast shipping
I ordered a designer paddle last week. It got here pretty quick, like 3 days. The paddle looks just like the picture, I used it yesterday and it felt good. No complaints at all, happy with it.
Good quality, minor shipping hiccup
I purchased the 'Sunset' composite paddle along with a matching paddle cover. Ordering online was straightforward, and I received an order confirmation email immediately. Shipping took about 5 business days to reach me in Arizona, which was within the expected timeframe. The packaging was secure, and both items arrived in perfect condition. The paddle itself feels well-made and has a nice grip. I found it to be USAPA approved as stated. The paddle cover fits snugly. I had a small question about cleaning the paddle, and customer service responded to my email within 24 hours with helpful instructions. Overall, a solid experience.
